When I was young, I struggled at school. It took me longer to grasp the concepts of maths and english than some of the other students. I found reading was incredibly helpful in developing my english skills and for opening up the world to different ideas. I began to write short poems and take notes as they came to mind of stories that I would one day write. In my early 20’s I left the finance world to become a Nanny, reading many stories, some favourites over and over again.
